At Northside Church of Christ, we extend a warm invitation to all. Discover who we are and what to expect during our services. We are simply Christians, guided by the Bible and the authority of Christ.

We are simply Christians, without denominational names and practices. We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and contains all that Christians are to believe (2Ti 3:16-17).

The Gospel For All

We proclaim the message of the crucified and risen Lord and urge all to accept God’s gift of eternal life in His Son (Ro 6:23). God’s plan for salvation involves:

  • Hearing the Word of God Proclaimed (Rom. 10:17)
  • Believing the Word of God (Acts 8:37)
  • Repentance toward God and faith in Jesus Christ (Ac 20:21)
  • Confessing Jesus as Lord and that God raised Him from the dead (Ro 10:10)
  • Baptism into Christ for the remission of sins (Ac 2:38; 22:16)
  • Followed by a life of faithful service to Christ (Re 2:10)

 

What To Expect In Our Services

You can expect to be treated as our honored and respected guest. Our worship consists of activities authorized by command or example in the New Testament: singing, prayers, sermons, the Lord’s Supper, and giving on the first day of the week.  On Wednesday midweek Bible Study, we have singing, scripture reading, prayer, a lesson from the Word of God, and an Invitation to obey The Gospel.
